The Es Príncep Spa and other places in Palma for a relaxing Valentine's Day

written by Es Príncep / January 29, 2024

Have you heard of the Es PrÍncep spa? It's an oasis of calm and relaxation known as Cocó. Whether you've spent the day wandering the streets of Palma's old town or soaking up the winter sun from our Rooftop, Cocó is the space you need to make your Valentine's Day complete.

Cocó, the oasis spa at Es Príncep, perfect for Valentine's Day

An urban spa is like an oasis in the middle of the city. In Palma, everything is close by, and if we're talking about the historic center, even more so. At the heart of Es Príncep is Cocó, a space for you and your partner to indulge in on Valentine's Day.

Forget everything and let the plush bathrobes caress your skin. Close your eyes and let the aromas envelop you, and get ready to enjoy, together, a session of skin and sensory care.

We have a team of expert beauty therapists who will offer you a world of aesthetic and wellness treatments. Pamper tired feet with a pedicure, rehydrate the skin with a facial treatment, loosen up your back with a massage... or experience the fantastic seaweed wrap that works wonders on the skin.

In our double cabin, you can decide which treatment you want to have, but in addition, you can relax in the jacuzzi, sauna, or the wonderful 18-meter pool that invites you to forget about the outside temperature and immerse yourself fully in the calmness of the water.

Hammam Al Ándalus, the Arab baths of Palma

A hammam is a traditional Arab bath that originated from Roman baths. Cleaning is done through steam and skin exfoliation and is usually a gathering place, especially for women.

The Hamman Al Andalus baths in Palma maintain that characteristic atmosphere, a bit mysterious and feminine. Although modernity has made its way into their facilities, centuries later, you can still feel the original essence of the Arab baths.

Muslim culture is one of those that has made the most of water in their daily lives. Fountains are present in gardens and buildings to refresh the environment, quench thirst, and relax the mind with their murmur. As with other cultures, the Muslim culture did not only conceive water as a hygiene element but also as a vehicle for relaxation and well-being, for social purposes or religious objectives.

Each season of the year is different, and both the body, skin, and hair have different needs. For this reason, at Hammam Al Andalus, it changes according to the time of year.

In winter, a time for introspection, caring for oneself from within, and healing and rediscovering emotions, the baths experience a very different atmosphere than in other times of the year.

Other spas worth visiting

In Palma, there are other spa centers to take care of body and soul that are worth knowing. The Palacio de Congresos, located very close to Es Princep, has the Freixanet Wellness spa; at the HM Jaime III hotel, located on Paseo Mallorca, they offer their clients a circuit in their wellness center, and at Can Bordoy, also in the center, relaxation treatments are offered.

There is no excuse not to take some time for yourself, as a couple. Enjoy Valentine's Day at our Cocó spa and indulge in a session of attention and care.
